Summer is flying by! But wait, what? How? Is August here already? I’m slowly shifting gears from vacation mode to (ahem) werk mode. For the new season, grind responsibly! Here are my top 3 major productivity things to do that helped me create more headspace to move the needle forward in my business. Those 3 simple productivity ideas will literally organize your life.
1. Post Later Alligator!
Yes, you heard me, stop yourself from rushing to post right away! Snap your photos and put your phone away. I took that from 6 figure success marketing guru Jenna Kutcher. Learn from the pros, they actually spread out their content and visuals. Take time to mindfully write captions with your dream client in mind rather than posting just to post something. Also, compose your content in bulk and store in your computer file or the note app on your phone for later. Trust me it will free up time for other business tasks that require your attention. You will thank yourself for having visuals and captions ready that you can choose from when you are uninspired.
2. Write Your Content in Bulk
Choose one day in the week or month to solely focus on writing your content. Choose your topics, find all your quotes, useful tips, and visuals. In a few hours, you can spread out that content into 30 posts for 30 days. Devoting that few hours to write at a specified time each week or month will leave you with more time to tackle other aspects of your business instead of stressing trying to figure out what to write every other day! Use a social media scheduling tool such as Tailwind or MeetEdgar to lay out your weekly or monthly content. Et voilà, you are done and ready to move on to other great things in life! Together, let’s try to organize our lives as entrepreneurs. You can do this!
3. Start Planning Your Day The Night Before
Do like me! Organize your life by dividing your day into 3 major projects that will make a difference in your business. For some reason, I’m obsessed with the number 3. I tend to have 3 of everything around my house. The obsession goes far beyond my obsession as far as how I set my working days. Under those major projects, write the actionable tasks you will need to do to achieve them. If you happen to have unfinished tasks, don’t panic! Move them to the next day and so on.
I never run out of productive ways to organize my life to levy more me, family and friend time. As much as I enjoy doing brand strategy, having time to take care of my clients and also go wild searching for ways to organize my life better is what I strive for. Try your very best to stick to these great productive tips and don’t forget to add flow to your grind. Now fly off to your next task. Remember you’ve got a legacy to build you busy bee!
